is there anything better? I hope that all of you are on break by now or at least in the next few days. I was hoping to be more productive than I am, but I needed a break. I've been spending it trying to get the teenagers to spend time with me, reading and relaxing by the pool. After I got over the week 1 deep clean and do everything that didn't get done during the school year. π I have been thinking about how to support you for the summer. I know some of you don't even want to think about next year, and I get that. I also know some of you like to plan in the summer. I thought the best way to start is by reminding you that I have lots of freebies in my store. Summer is a great time to look through them and see what you can use for next year. It is also a great time to prep hands on activities, while relaxing and catching up on shows.

I am always surprised at how many people love the small group time, but donβt know what to do with the rest of the students! For some reason this part just came easy to me. I loved to give them time to free write and read. I also had plenty of opportunities to practice sight words and the current and past phonics skills.
